IPGA has an active committee structure, providing a greater opportunity for you to enhance the value of your membership while building a stronger association. IPGA hosts committee meetings throughout the year to provide a forum for members to hear important presentations necessary to their businesses while providing members an opportunity to bring issues to the attention of the association.

Education and Safety Committee – Coordinates and implements industry employee training schools, management workshops and other programs to improve industry operating practices and safety education. Works with fire and emergency response personnel to provide training programs on safe practices and fire prevention. Prepares and issues information for association publication on safe handling practices for the industry. This committee plans the annual convention and decides upon future meeting locations.

Legislative and Regulatory Committee – This committee is charged with becoming actively involved in all legislation and regulations, which affects the propane gas industry in Indiana.

Marketing Awareness Committee – Assesses the industry’s needs for enhanced safety awareness campaigns and creates programs to meet those needs. This committee is charged with developing the strategy, plans and programs that receive and distribute PERC money to deserving Indiana projects.

Member Services Committee – Makes recommendations regarding the services appropriate to satisfy the needs of the members. Promotes available services to the membership and prospective membership. Reviews prospective member applications and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors. Creates and implements membership promotion and retention programs. Plans the annual golf outing.
